Microneedling is a procedure performed with a hand help device, using small needles to prick the skin. The “injury” will generate new collagen production to create smoother, firmer and more toned skin. As well as improving the appearance of the skin, it can also help with concerns with wrinkles, large pores and some scars. Your skin will appear to have tightened and pores appear smaller soon after the treatment, however it can take 4-6 weeks to see the true final results. Skin may be red following the treatment. This will fade after a day or 2, after which make up can be applied. Microneedling can be performed safely every 4-6 weeks, depending on your ability to heal and your skin’s condition,until the desired results are achieved
