What are Skin Boosters?

They are primarily an injectable treatment, placed beneath the surface of the skin. They deliver a high level of hydration, to promote a natural glow and radiance.

How do Skin Boosters Work?

Skin Boosters contain a soft gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is a naturally occuring substance in the skin. HA depletes with age and other factors including the environment, lifestyle choices, genetics or sun damage, which causes signs of aging, dryness and dehydration. Skin Boosters restore the moisture in the skin, from within the skin and triggers the body's own response to repair damage, resulting in improvements in hydration, texture and tone.

Skin Boosters  can be used on the face, neck, and backs of hands.

The Treatment.

A thorough consultation will determine which Skin Booster is right for you. Depending on the method of administration, the treatment could take between  30-60 mins to complete. The  treatment can be administered as micro-injections beneath the skin,  known as meso-therapy, a 5 point injection method, or they can be Microneedled with great results. It is recommended that  your initial treatment consists of 2-3 sessions 4 weeks apart, with a maintainance treatment every 6-12months, depending on your individual response to the treatment. 

Results from a skin booster can be seen within 24 hours, but the full effect can often take up to 4 weeks.
